Tennessee Craft: Midstate Chapter
We are the largest Chapter of Tennessee Craft, a state-wide non-profit organization. Our more than 200 members include both professional and aspiring makers, along with creative allies who are passionate about promoting fine craft. As a chapter, we offer our members networking activities to help build community around creative process, along with frequent professional development opportunities.
The Midstate chapter welcomes artists from the following counties:
Stewart, Montgomery, Robertson, Sumner, Trousdale, Houston, Cheatham, Humphreys, Dickson, Davidson, Wilson, Williamson and Rutherford |
Monthly Maker Meet-Ups
Our meetings are designed to provide professional development opportunities for craft artists, along with opportunities to network and build community around creative process. Our meetings are free and open to the public and typically held on the third Thursday of every month from 6:30 pm to 8 pm.
Exhibitions and Events
Midstate partners regularly with local organizations to create member exhibitions and other events. They have included exhibits at local public libraries, the annual Art of Craft Exhibit at the Centennial Art Center, and a Holiday Crawl.
Scholarships and Funding
